| This
is a GIF image type spam in which the entire message is a
photo.
Unfortunately my state attorney general's office uses a text box in which you have to copy and paste the spam in a text box on their complaint web site. With this type of reporting system, there's no way that the text in a GIF or JPG file will be processed so it can be read. When I get image spams like this one, I convert the ad to text using a OCR program so their message can be read and paste it in the complaint box with the source code so my state's Attorney General's Spam complaint department gets the ENTIRE message. |
![]() I make sure EVERY SPAM I RECEIVE GETS REPORTED and I do everything possible to MAKE THE SPAMMER PAY! After all, they are upsetting me by sending their spam, so I'm going to do my best to make sure THEY feel the heat as a result of THEIR actions. This ad had a phone number in it so I called the spammer numerous times and RAISED HELL. I told him how he was breaking the law and that I was reporting him to the FTC, State Attorney General's office, etc. Of course, I always press * 67 first so my phone number is blocked. Imagine if everyone who received his spam did this? He might well deiced it's not worth it and stop his spamming ways (lol) ! |
